Nissan’s Sentra has been in its current generation since 2020. The 2024 Sentra is the fourth iteration of this sedan form. It includes everything that made the 2023 model such a success, and adds even more.

The 2.0 L, 4-cylinder engine of the Nissan Sentra for sale is back in 2024 to deliver the same excellent performance. This engine still produces 149 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque.
The 6-speed manual transmission is still available on the Sentra S and SR, but a new Xtronic continuously variable transmission is standard on all models.
The manufacturer has announced that this transmission, combined with the addition of an automatic stop-start system, will enable the 2024 Sentra to offer better fuel economy.
Although official figures have yet to be released, it is evident that the 2023 Sentra already offered excellent combined fuel economy of 7.1 L/100 km, when equipped with the previous CVT transmission.
To celebrate the new near, the Sentra has also changed its look. Among the new features is the redesign of Nissan’s classic V-motion grille, now trimmed in gleaming chrome.

The 2024 Nissan Sentra release date is scheduled for late 2023, but the official date has yet to be announced.
For the moment, Nissan Canada has not revealed the expected prices for the various versions of the 2024 Sentra. However, we do know that the 2024 Sentra will be based on the S, SR and SV versions of the 2023 Sentra. We can therefore use 2023 prices as a basis for estimating the 2024 Nissan Sentra price.
