2018 Nissan Rogue: Its popularity is easily explained

The 2018 Nissan Rogue is the best-selling model in the Nissan lineup, and when we look at all it has to offer, it's not hard to understand or explain its popularity.

For 2018, the Nissan Rogue is largely unchanged except for a few differences in equipment. For starters, the 2018 Rogue is no longer offered with a third row of seats. It must be said that the three-row versions were not very popular. If you need to carry more than 5 passengers, why not take a look at the Pathfinder?

Better Safety in the 2018 Nissan Rogue

As for the Rogue, engineers have instead decided to improve the comfort of the model and its safety.

For starters, the 2018 Nissan Rogue is equipped with Nissan's ProPilot Assist system, which makes its debut on this model for the first time. This system features a level of autonomous driving that uses the Lane-Keeping System and Adaptive Cruise Control to keep the Rogue in the right direction and cruising at the right speed, even if the driver momentarily lifts their hands off the wheel. The system only works a few seconds before prompting the driver to put their hands on the steering wheel.

The goal of ProPilot Assist is to make driving more comfortable, safer and more enjoyable, whether in the city or on the highway.

Also new for 2018 is the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an additional USB port (there are now two). So you are more connected than ever in the 2018 Nissan Rogue.

Design wise, both inside and out, the Rogue hasn't changed much. That said, it still remains up to date, there is no doubt about it.

In terms of power and transmission choice, the 2018 Nissan Rogue is equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine developing 170 horsepower and mated to a CVT. This engine is as fuel efficient as it is efficient on the road.
