While the Nissan Rogue had undergone a prominent redesign in 2021, that doesn’t stop it from introducing a major change for 2022, namely the arrival of a new engine.

More power and less fuel consumption: yes, it’s possible!
While the entire lineup was previously powered by a 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine, good for 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, it now only appears in the entry-level version.
On the higher variants, this engine is replaced by a second one, designed to provide both more fun and more fuel savings.
On the one hand, the new 1.5 L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine develops an additional 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, it consumes only 6.7 L on the road and has a combined fuel consumption of 7.6 L/100 km.
Although a little less frugal, the previous engine still does well with a combined fuel consumption of 8.3 L/100 km when combined with all-wheel drive.
All-wheel drive is optional on the S trim and standard on all other models. What’s more, it doubles as an off-road mode selector to get you off the beaten track!
